Save The Hundredstone Post Office

This Government is failing to properly support our postal services up and down the UK This must stop.

Since taking office, Adam Dance MP has been pressing the Government to provide greater support and funding for postal services, particularly in rural and semi-rural areas such as Yeovil and South Somerset.

The proposed closure of the Morrisons on Glenthorne Avenue means that the Hundredstone Post Office, which is located inside, is due to close.

This closure risks depriving local residents, particularly elderly and vulnerable individuals, meaning they will no longer have easy access to vital postal services.

For too long, across Yeovil and South Somerset, we have needed greater support for postal services, alongside countless other local services, but successive governments have failed to deliver the funding and regulatory environment needed for our post offices, banks, and local shops to thrive. That must change.

Sign this petition against the proposed closure of the Hundredstone Post Office on Glenthorne Avenue, and to express wider concern about diminishing access to in-person services such as post offices and local shops across Yeovil and South Somerset.
