Garry Wins Holyrood for the Lib Dems!

Last night Garry Shortland was elected as the new Lib Dem champion for Chard's Holyrood Ward

Gary Shortland wins the Chard Holyrood Ward for the Lib Dems despite challenges from the Conservative & Green Parties and a strong showing from the Independent candidate. Garry would like to thank everyone who came out and helped him win this ward. Whether it was delivering leaflets, stuffing envelopes or knocking on doors, every little helped. Garry will take up his new position shortly, alongside the other Liberal Democrat councillors working all year round and always demanding better for Chard.
