Lib Dem Prospective Parliamentary Candidate Daisy Benson is this week launching Advice Centres to assist local people.

These sessions which will be open to local residents no appointment necessary will be held at the Liberal Democrats Church Street Office from 10:00 - 12:00 in Yeovil on the following dates:

  • 25 February
  • 11 March
  • 1 April
  • 22 April

Paddy Ashdown said:

“I am delighted that Daisy Benson our Lib Dem PPC, will be starting local Advice Centres for people who want our help with problems and difficulties.

I began these in 1976 when I was the Liberal candidate. I carried them on when I was MP. David Laws continued them during his time as our Member of Parliament, but they ended after the last election. So Daisy is re-establishing a forty year long local tradition in which the local Lib Dems offer help and advice to local people on a regular basis.

I will be privileged to support Daisy in this work which many local people tell us they miss.’

Daisy Benson added:

‘I want to help local people and to continue the hard work of David Laws, Paddy Ashdown and other Lib Dems in the area.’
