Candidate for Brympton
Sam Crabb is a hard working local councillor, who has worked hard on all the key local issues. Sam works from home in Marston Magna, he attended school in Yeovil and his daughter works in an Academy in Bristol. He cares for our area and is passionate about helping the vulnerable in our society.
Sam’s work includes family farming, running a business in Edinburgh and Ski Chalets in the French Alps. Sam is also a Governor at Stanchester Academy and at the Pupil Referral Unit in Yeovil - Sam was also the Governor of Preston Primary School. Sam is the Shadow Member for Finance on Somerset County Council.
Sam cares for education and ensuring council tax payers’ money is spent sensibly - getting good value for money.
Sam’s Three to Fix
Sam strongly supports the building of the new Kingfisher Primary School in Lufton and helped ensure the eventual start date for 2017.
2. Road Safety
Sam is actively campaigning for a road safety scheme along Stourton Way and the top of The Toose to reduce vehicle speeds and increase pedestrian safety.
Sam is fighting hard to ensure that all residents have good broadband in our area. He will work to make more BT green cabinets are converted to fibre for the quickest speeds.
