LAWS TO RECEIVE HOME EDUCATION PETITION

David Laws, MP for Yeovil Constituency, will receive a petition tomorrow (Saturday 21 November) from families across his constituency protesting against draft legislation regulating home education.

The group presenting the petition claim that the Children and Families Bill will “result in local authority employees having a right to enter law abiding home educators’ homes and interview children without their parents present”.
