Laws welcomes lottery grants for local groups
David Laws, MP for Yeovil constituency, today welcomed the news that several community groups within the constituency have been awarded lottery grants of between £500 and £5000 from the Big Lottery Fund.
Recipients of the grants of between £500 and £5000 are Stoke Sub Hamdon Parish Council, South Petherton Busy Bees Pre-School, Somerset 4x4 Response, Norton Sub Hamdon Local History Society, and Yeovil and District Council for Voluntary Service.
David Laws MP said:
‘I am delighted that such generous grants have been awarded to these five worthwhile local causes. The money will be extremely beneficial and will allow the improvement of facilities for those using them. I wish those groups who received the grants all the best.’
