Laws praises yeovil district hospital on performance on 18 week treatment target

Responding to figures released by the Department of Health showing that Yeovil District Hospital treats 89% of patients within 18 weeks of being referred by their GP, David Laws, MP for Yeovil constituency said,

“Congratulations to Yeovil District Hospital Trust for performing so well on its 18 weeks treatment target.

“The hospital treats 89% of patients with 18 weeks of being referred by their GP - one of the best outcomes in the South West.

“All the staff at the hospital have worked hard to improve the service provided to the people of South Somerset and deserve our thanks”
