‘Save yeovil post office’ campaign

Following an announcement by Royal Mail at the end of 2004 that it is planning to close number of its Crown Post Offices nationwide, David has recently launched a petition in conjunction with the Yeovil Express to save the Yeovil branch. David has also written to Royal Mail seeking assurances that the branch at King George Street would not face closure, which the organisation has so far failed to provide. This is an ongoing campaign, and David will continue to fight to ensure that Yeovil does not lose this important facility.
